The tasting of this extra virgin olive oil from the northern part of Lake Garda led us into olfactory sensations of excellent finesse. The green scent of mown grass accompanied by notes of aromatic herbs and a barely noticeable tomato leaf immediately
thrilled with its balance and gentle complexity.
In the mouth it has a very balanced bitter and spicy taste, almost enveloping in terms of the frankness of this truly well-made extra virgin olive oil.
In fact, the olfactory aromatic parts clearly emerge in the mouth, thus making this product a true ally in the kitchen, where it is well-known that if you get the wrong olive oil, you make the dish wrong. In this case this olive oil can be combined
with a wide range of dishes, even complex ones or with highly prestigious raw materials.
We put it on a buffalo caprese together with a basil leaf in order to enhance the overall qualities of this olive oil that helps the versatility in combinations and the balance in the harmony of fresh seasonal products.
In fact, we also recommend it on vegetable soups or seasonal salads, maybe in front of the wonderful landscapes of this part of Lake Garda where this product was born.
Madonna delle Vittorie is located on the northern shore of Lake Garda in the Trentino Alto-Adige region, with vineyards and olive groves in the municipalities of Arco, Riva del Garda, and Nago-Torbole. The particularly mild sub-Mediterranean climate of
this geographical location allows for the cultivation of high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The olives from Madonna delle Vittorie are harvested in early November at the onset of ripening and are cold-pressed on the same day. This process ensures
a superior quality extra virgin olive oil with fruity and spicy notes.
